History

It was originally a small colony formed in 2328. Its inception and rapid growth sparked tensions with the native Azal'qan tribes who saw it as a threat to their way of life. These tensions eventually erupted into the War on Tempus in 2340. The war took place northeast of the colony, lasting four years before ending with a treaty that established separate territories for both groups. The city later became the birthplace of VISION, evolving from the United Interstellar Foundation (UIF).

After the Siege of Vesta, many Ohrinthi refugees found sanctuary in Aion, bringing their unique culture and traditions. The arrival of the Hyot'tohr from Vulcan further enriched the city's population. This diverse environment made Aion an ideal location for interstellar diplomacy. The city's commitment to fostering unity among different species led to the formation of the Intergalactic Alliance, a coalition aimed at promoting peace, facilitating trade, and coordinating defense efforts across member worlds.
