ZIth - Lhyr's Gaze

Zith, also known as "The Cradle World Zith" or "Her Warm Embrace", is a moonless continental planet in the Lhyr's Gaze Star System (commonly referred to as "The Zith System"). It is characterized by higher-than-normal wind speeds and diverse ecologies spread across its surface, which still bears the scars of conflict from a century past as it gradually heals.

Environmental Factors

War-Scarred Landscape: The planet's surface shows clear evidence of past conflicts, though nature has begun to reclaim and heal these wounded areas over the past century.

High Wind Speeds: Zith experiences notably stronger wind patterns than typical for a planet of its size and position, affecting both its climate and ecology.

Diverse Biomes: Despite its troubled history, the planet maintains a remarkable variety of ecosystems, each supporting unique forms of life adapted to their specific conditions.

Extensive Underbiomes: Beneath the surface lies a complex network of caverns hosting distinct ecosystems, particularly accessible through the Umbral Chasm.

• The Ktisis Flash Zone: A roughly 500-mile radius area where an anomalous event at the central Ktisis research facility caused all light to vanish, leaving only shadows permanently burned into space itself. The area remains largely uninhabited by both wildlife and intelligent life, likely due to a catastrophic machine malfunction during the late Hive Wars.
